Hi I’m Nick Studholme and welcome to the Cheshire Guitar School website. I am a guitar tutor based in Winsford, Cheshire.

I teach all styles of electric and acoustic guitar. I also teach bass. All lessons are customised for your specific needs and take place in a relaxed, friendly environment.

I love my role as a guitar tutor and I’m determined to help you get the best results from your practice. I have played in a wide variety of bands over the years, thus I have extensive gigging and studio recording experience.

I have been teaching for over 25 years throughout many schools, in partnership with the organisation Music for Life, the private primary school – The Firs and in the private music school – Tafelmusik. I am CRB/DBS checked.

I help beginning and frustrated guitarists achieve their goals and make fast progress. My aim is to keep frustration to a minimum and make the process as enjoyable as possible. Happy guitarists play the guitar more, so improvement tends to be faster.

Nick is a registered Rockschool tutor and his students currently have a 100% pass rate with at least a merit in the Rockschool guitar and bass grade exams. The higher rockschool grades are also an excellent way to pick up UCAS points.

Our intent is to make music classes enjoyable and exciting for our students.

I offer private guitar classes, and guitar lessons in Cheshire. And can educate students ranging from beginners to professionals and anything in between. Join me on your musical journey, no matter where you are in the process. We’ll create a custom guitar course tailored to your individual requirements.

Online lessons – Wherever you are, all you need is a steady internet connection, a webcam, and most importantly – a guitar.
