EXCELLENT Based on 42 reviews Posted on Google Patrick BruntTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had some basic knowledge of a few chords when I started but had never read guitar tab or played a song . Nick shows you how to play then you can go home and practise as he send you the music, the techniques and u tube links to artists actually playing the song you are working on so you get the rhythm'. I feel I have come on quite quickly and am very pleased with my progress. Nick is very calm which is an asset.Posted on Google PaulTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Nick is a pleasure to learn from. He is an accomplished musician and communicator. I enjoy the lessons, they are very relaxed and I am definitely improving my guitar playing!Posted on Google Mark HughesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. When my daughter, at the time 7, attended her first guitar lesson with Nick she came away absolutely buzzing. Each week Nick manages to get the right balance between providing gentle challenge, whilst maintaining the child’s motivation - no mean task for anyone who teaches kids! It has been great to see my daughter’s progress and I highly recommend Nick’s guitar lessons.Posted on Google Stephen Kinghorn-PerryTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Following retirement I have the time to pursue a long held desire of taking guitar lessons. After some on-line searching I decided on Nick. I am now a few months in and thoroughly enjoying what I am learning. I could not ask for a better tutor than Nick. Always patient with my novice questions and inabilities. I learn something new each week and feel I am making progress. Important for me is Nick's willingness to adapt lessons to what I want to learn and the music I am interested in. There are numerous on-line courses available but for me one to one is so much better, more informative with bad habits quickly fixed. An easy fantastic five stars from me. Starting out or wanting to improve current abilities, Nick is perfect.Posted on Google Ben MTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Professional guitar tutor, transcribed a load of songs for me perfectly and has a great ability to make music understandablePosted on Google Mike EvesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After I retired I was encouraged by my son, who plays guitar, to give it a go. I tried to learn through online tuition but found them aimed at singing along or accompanying someone else singing, which as a 72 year old beginner didn’t suit me 😄 On my first lesson Nick and I discussed what I hoped to be able to do and he has tailored his teaching and my practice since then to suit. Nick is very encouraging and helpful and I feel I have made good progress. I am enjoying playing and feel I am improving. Many thanks Nick.Posted on Google Nigel FungeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Hi, to my fellow mature potential students, I'm sure I'm not alone in having "tinkered" with the aspiration of learning to play guitar for a long time. Having, received my first instrument and a book some over 50 years ago, the total product of which, was a couple of badly played riffs and the A Minor pentatonic. I concluded earlier this year, having retired, to give this Guitar business one more go. Some research on the web led me to contact Nick and he agreed to take me on. Since March I've been delighted with the results. Nick is structured in his tuition and focussed on those elements that deliver real improvement whilst keeping the fun element. I am happy to highly recommend Nick as a technically skilled, patient, tutor and at the same time - a very nice guy. So "go for it" Nigel Funge (68 and a bit)Posted on Google Emma GroveTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would really recommend Cheshire Guitar School. My daughter has been going here for almost 12 months & has made excellent progress. She attends lessons face to face or online depending on what suits us best that week. Nick has a calm, relaxed manner and is encouraging & supportive.Posted on Google MARK BUCKLEYTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Nick is a great teacher, has plenty of patience and has a great way of explaining how a song should be played. It's not only helped me with my guitar playing but also reinvigorated my love for music.Posted on Google Selina WoodwardTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My daughter has been having lessons with Nick for a while now and I’m amazed at how she’s progressed. She finds it difficult to concentrate and stick at something but Nick has been fantastic with her. She’s learning at her own pace and genuinely enjoys her lessons as she learns to play music that she likes.
